Ocarina of Time:
These wonderful novels for The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time, are by two women who use the pen name Akira Himegawa. Out of the 5 novels they have done for the zelda series, I love these two the most. I probably won't be posting them here though. The reason why is because you can already find them, in English, on a really wonderful site called Zelda no Densetsu. The wonderful webmistress of that site knows Japanese and has translated them for you! If you visit her site, which you should, be sure to thank her in her guest book for all the hard work she's done!
These novels follow the story of Ocarina of Time pretty closely, but not exactly. They start off with Link as a young boy. Before the end of the first novel he has already reached the Temple of Time so by the second novel, which concludeds the story, he's a very sexy guy! ^_^
Ocarina of Time Review by Willow:
Ocarina of Time, Akira Himekawa's first manga of the Legend of Zelda series, comes in two beautifully illustrated, action-packed, and novel-like volumes
Link, the young, naive social outcast of the Kokiri Forest knew he was different from the other children residing in the dense forest. Link didn't have a guardian fairy that followed him everywhere and lent advice, like the others. As a result of his missing companion, Link was often taunted and the center of the jokes of the village bully, Mido.
However, life changes drastically for Link when a fairy suddenly appears in Link's house one morning claiming to be his new partner and the Great Deku Tree, Guardian of the Kokiri Forest informs Link of disturbing news. Link is told that an evil force has cursed all of Hyrule and it is his destiny to save his land. Will Link have the strength and courage to carry out this task and avoid the mortal danger that lies ahead?
