Hyrulean Museum of Ancient and Modern Art | Submitting Your Work

Introduction:

If you would like to submit your fanwork to this site, or know of an event, community, or project that should be listed here, please check out the correct section below for the info you will need to send along with it.

There is going to be a huge delay for submissions until at least mid-January. I'm sorry! I will have guest throughout December, and then will have to play catch-up. You can still send stuff in though. Check below for the current queue of who I know we'll be adding.

Submission Information For:

Section Last Updated: December 14, 2011

If it's your first time submitting your personal work to this site, then you will also need to send in the bio info. If you ask us to post your work without filling out that bio form, we will have to write you back to get it. You won't need to provide the same bio info each time you submit new work, but please remember to always give us the same name when you write to us with changes or additions.

Additional Submission Info:

  • Always tell us your name, and use the same name, each time you send your work.
  • You can not submit other people's work or claim another's work as your own.
  • Collabs are welcome to be posted under your name, but the other artist(s) involved can ask us to remove the work from your gallery.
  • Accepted image file formats: jpeg, jpg, gif, png.
  • You can include your grouped work in a zip. zip's are okay, rar's are not.
  • You can send multiple items in one email; just make a clear form & submission info for each item or group.
  • You are responsible for watermarking your own work.
  • Credit all infulences, sources, and stock.
  • No sexual adult content please. More info here.

Older Works:

We would prefer if you wouldn't ask to remove your old work for reasons like, "You feel like you've outgrown it" or that "you're embarrassed by it." We will, of course, respect your wishes, but we like to think of this as a 'Museum.' The point of it is kind of for people to be able to see all Zelda art! And... there's something beautiful and wonderful about being able to watch and realize how an artist has grown. If you only showed off your newest stuff, how could anyone truly understand all the hard work and dedication you've put into your evolution? There's nothing to be embarrassed about when it comes to older art, we're all at different levels at different times ♥ It's one of the coolest things to see! I mean, look at all the meme's on DA made for showing the artist's development over the years.

And also... because it's kind of an ordeal for us to remove things properly. /sad

Submission Queue:

Thank you so much for allowing me to post your art, I really mean that! I'm embarrassed and sorry for the unforseen wait, because this should have been done: we really will be adding your art as soon as we can.
